Pediatric Physical Therapy

Helping kids move, play, and grow with confidence.

At Thera-Peds, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to move, play, and participate in the things they love. Our Pediatric Physical Therapists (PTs) help infants, children, and adolescents build the strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and motor skills they need to become more confident and independent.

Whether your child is working on their first milestones, catching up on gross motor skills, recovering from an injury, or navigating a condition that affects movement, we’re here to help.

Physical Therapy That Feels Like Play

Kids learn best when they’re having fun! That’s why our pediatric physical therapy sessions are play-based, engaging, and tailored to each child’s age, abilities, interests, and goals.

Through fun and meaningful activities, we help children develop the skills they need to participate more fully at home, at school, on the playground, and in their community.

Helping Your Child Feel Strong and Confident

Sometimes a child may have difficulty keeping up with peers, learning new physical skills, or participating in everyday activities. Pediatric physical therapy can give them the support and practice they need to build strength, improve movement, and gain confidence.

We focus on meaningful, functional goals that matter to your child and your family—whether that’s learning to crawl, walk, run, jump, climb, play a sport, or simply keep up with friends.

Most importantly, we’re here to celebrate progress with you, one step at a time.

Thera-Peds provides Pediatric Physical Therapy in Macomb Township and Richmond, Michigan. We’re here to help your child move with confidence, build independence, and enjoy being a kid.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Helping your child build confidence, independence, and the skills they need for everyday life.

As parents, we want our children to feel confident and successful—whether they’re playing with friends, getting dressed, eating a meal, learning at school, or simply keeping up with the kids around them. Sometimes, children need a little extra support to make those everyday activities easier.

Our Pediatric Occupational Therapists (OTs) work alongside your child and family to build the skills that help children play, learn, participate, and become more independent. Through fun, engaging, and individualized activities, we meet your child where they are and help them take the next step forward.

Helping Your Child Feel Confident and Independent

Occupational therapy is about so much more than therapy exercises. It’s about helping children feel successful in their everyday lives.

Whether your child is working on using scissors, holding a pencil, trying new foods, getting dressed independently, managing sensory challenges, staying focused in the classroom, or simply keeping up with friends during play, we’re here to help.

We partner with families to build practical skills that children can use at home, at school, and in the community. Together, we can help your child build confidence, celebrate progress, and become more independent—one skill at a time.

Thera-Peds provides Pediatric Occupational Therapy in Macomb Township and Richmond, Michigan. We’re here to help your child learn, grow, and feel confident in all the things they do every day.

Pediatric Speech Therapy

Helping your child find their voice, share their ideas, and connect with the world around them.

At Thera-Peds, we understand how important communication is—and how frustrating it can be when your child has difficulty expressing themselves. Our Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) work with children to build speech, language, communication, feeding, and oral-motor skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Every Child Has Something to Say

Whether your child is having trouble pronouncing sounds, understanding or using language, communicating with others, or expressing their wants and needs, we’re here to help.

Our pediatric speech therapists work with children experiencing:

  • Speech and language delays
  • Difficulty with articulation and speech sounds
  • Receptive and expressive language challenges
  • Social and pragmatic communication difficulties
  • Stuttering and fluency concerns
  • Childhood apraxia of speech
  • Oral-motor and feeding difficulties
  • Swallowing concerns
  • Tongue thrust
  • Voice difficulties

Learning Through Play

We believe children learn best when they’re comfortable, engaged, and having fun. That’s why our pediatric speech therapy sessions are play-based and tailored to your child’s interests and individual needs.

We celebrate the little victories along the way—from saying a new sound to using a new word, starting a conversation, or finding a new way to express a need.

For children who communicate with limited or no verbal speech, we can also provide support with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), including communication devices and other tools that help give every child a way to be heard.

We’re Here for the Whole Family

Speech therapy isn’t just about what happens during a therapy session. We partner with parents and caregivers to provide simple, practical strategies you can use at home and throughout your child’s day.

Together, we can help your child communicate with greater confidence, connect with others, and enjoy the world around them.

Thera-Peds provides Pediatric Speech Therapy in Macomb Township and Richmond, Michigan. We’re here to support your child every step of the way.
