Samantha (Sam) W

My name is Ms. Sam and I am a pediatric physical therapist. I graduated with my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Oakland University following final clinical rotations in orthopedics and pediatrics. I worked for 2.5 years at Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, and I am excited to have joined the Thera-Peds team at both the Shelby Township and Richmond locations. Some of the kiddos that I treat are babies with torticollis, developmental delay, orthopedic / sports injuries, and I also love getting to do serial casting for toe-walking. The best part of Physical Therapy for kids is seeing them learn new skills for the first time and do things that they’d never done before, like learning to crawl or walk or ride a bike. In her free time, Ms. Sam loves baking sourdough, spending time with family and friends, and taking her dog Millie on long walks.
